Course Overview

The Occupational Certificate: Office Administrator equips learners with the knowledge, practical skills and workplace experience required to coordinate and manage the day-to-day administrative functions of a modern office. The programme develops competencies in office administration, business communication, customer service, records management, procurement support, project administration, human resource support, marketing administration and digital office systems.

Admission Requirements

Applicants should possess:

  • National Senior Certificate (NSC), or
  • National Certificate (Vocational) [NC(V)] Level 4, or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification that provides access to occupational learning.


Learners must also complete all prescribed knowledge, practical skills and workplace experience modules and successfully pass the External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA) before the Occupational Certificate can be awarded.
